Becoming a member of the Western and Central New York Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators is easy!  Step 1 is that you must be a member of the National Association of Legal Administrators before joining the local chapter.  As a member of the National Association of Legal Administrators, you’ll realize the benefit of belonging to your professional association and tapping into the resources it provides.

The Western and Central New York Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators is a group of 40+ local professionals, working in various aspects of legal management in both large and small firms, for profit and non-profit.  Getting involved with the WCNY Chapter enriches your ALA experience and provides ongoing, local, face-to-face connection opportunities.

The WCNY Chapter strives to meet the needs of all members west of Albany and north of NYC.  While this is a vast area, we want to be your local resource, providing opportunities that are specific to your needs.  Your local dues ($100/year) can provide many benefits, including:

  • FREE admission to the annual Managing Partner and Business Partner Appreciation / Year-end event

The WCNY Chapter usually meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at the Rochester offices of Nixon Peabody located at 1400 Clinton Square.  Monthly educational sessions can be attended either in person or via WebEx.  You’ll have a chance to meet other chapter members and learn more about what we have to offer.
